We have just bought this super and wonderful James Purdey & Sons Double Side by Side Rifle in .45-70 caliber manufactured and finished by Purdey in 1930.  It is in as new condition, in its' proper leather case and with Purdey accessories.  The barrels are 25 1/2" with ejectors and splinter fore-end.  The stock has a 14 1/2" pull with the proper pad, cheek- piece and full pistol grip.  The side locks of case coloring were engraved by Purdey in scrolls and roses pattern and inlaid later with raised gold animal scenes by Master Engraver Ken C. Hunt. A whitetail deer is on the left and a grizzly bear on the right lock.  The rifle was originally chambered for .400 Purdey 3" Express and sent to the famous R. B. Rodda Company in Calcutta, India in 1930. This Company sold to and handled many fine guns for the Maharajahs of the time as well as the well healed English Colonials.  When and where the conversion to the more American .45-70 caliber is unknown.  A pair of .45-70 gold plated snap-caps are included as well as a cleaning kit with horn handle rod by Parker Hale, Ltd. Several Purdey horn handled screw drivers are also with the accessories, see thumbnail. There are several small dings in the wood and can be seen in the thumbnail photos. These use or handling marks can be professionally removed. Purdy guns are recognized by many in the gun fraternity to be the worlds' finest firearms.  Recently several of these high quality guns were sold at auction for over $100,000.  Our asking price is $xxxxx.00  Inquiries Invited.

C0000... Parker Brothers Side by Side Double Barrel Shotgun in 12 gauge with 28" Damascus tubes, exposed hammers and top lever action, all on a number one frame.  Very nice overall condition to this over hundred and twenty year old gun.  The barrels have seen better days as there are five or so minor dents and both main spring lifters are missing as is the right lock spring.  Probably why the overall condition is still pretty fine, no case colors however, except inside. (See lock photos.)  Any of these old and early Parkers are still highly collectable and probably shootable with the replacement parts.  They are out there, all one need do is seek them out. HC2150 ... (Second) Ithaca Old Model 37 Slide-action (pump) shot gun, 12 gauge, plain 28" modified choke barrel, 2 3/4" chamber with standard 14" length of pull. This is a very nice Featherweight with ribbed fore-end and hand checkered stock, serial number 569190-2.  Some of the reasons these Ithaca Model 37 shotguns are so popular is the bottom ejection port and changeable ambidextrous safety.  These guns can be used by both right and left hand shooters with equal ease.  Another feature is the ability to hold the trigger down and pump the action to fire the rounds in succession.  Ithaca  discontinued these guns in 1986 and came out with their new version in the Model 87 ... probably a big mistake.  When the company was bought out the new owners resumed production of the Model 37, continuing until their own recent demise.  Over two million were manufactured since their introduction in 1937.  This particular fine gun remains in excellent condition with exc. dark wood and 97% bluing remaining.  We have it priced at $625.00 ... Ithaca Model 37 Slide Action, 16 gauge, Deerslayer Shotgun

This is an excellent condition Ithaca Model 37 Deerslayer in 16 gauge with a 26" Buck Barrel and rifle sights.  The walnut stock is dark with all finish with but a few scratches.  There are light scratch marks on the receiver from use or storage but the gun is in overall excellent condition.  We have this unusual configuration priced at ... $795.00 ... Ruger Old Model Bearcat .22 Caliber Revolver

HS1664.. Nice Ruger revolver, old model Bearcat, .22 caliber, serial number 495xx, and fairly early 1962 production with a 4 inch barrel.  Gun has slight barrel end wear, nice walnut grips but L.H. is stamped on the bottom right grip. Several dings and scratches on barrel,  dings on front site blade, the cylinder is roll stamped with Puma and Bear, 99% blue.  The hammer is 100% blue with bright sides, which is proper. both left and right side of frame are near new as is grip straps with very slight wear on forward grip strap, the top of the frame has three or four visible dings.  The trigger guard is gold color anodized aluminum and there is a scratch on the top right of the guard.  A fine early Ruger collectible in overall excellent condition, which has have more endearing qualities than the new ones out.   FFL is required.

Ruger Old Model .44 Magnum Blackhawk

HS2452... Nice early revolver Ruger, Old Model .44 Mag Blackhawk with 6 1/2" bbl. Made in 1969 and never back to the factory for the transfer bar alteration so you must sign a waiver that it will not be fired without the new safety mechanism installed by Ruger.  It would be in near new condition but for a little spotting on the right side of frame and near the ejection  shroud screw, very minor considering the desirability of these early three screw Flat Tops.  The grips are near perfect but there is some staining to the bright of the hammer which probably could be polished out.  We have this great single action priced at ... $1595.00 ... HS2020... Hi - Standard Supermatic Citation Model 106 Military, semi auto pistol, .22 LR, serial number 19085xx.  Has 7 1/4" barrel and comes in original, maroon box.  Pistol is in like new condition is classed as a curio but FFL required.  Also included in box are two weights, an allen wrench, extra magazine, target trigger shoe and paperwork.  Early manufactured gun and it has the fluted barrel.  Another great find with original components in like new condition and a great investment firearm.  This 1968 boxed gun is priced reasonably at $1595.00. ... HS222x... Hi - Standard M107 Military Supermatic Citation, semi auto pistol, .22 LR, has 6" bull barrel with screw holes. The serial number is 23116xx and is in near new perfect condition with single and proper magazine and walnut stocks.  The balance and weight was designed to be like the Colt 1911 .45ACP for target shooters and was and still is, one of the most popular .22 caliber target pistols.  This is from the 1960's era when fine guns were still made as standard practice.  We have this fine piece priced at $xxx.00. ... C0S130.. Star .22 Model F Semi-auto Target Pistol with 8" barrel and in it's original red and yellow cardboard box.  This gun is in excellent working condition, the bore is excellent, as are the plastic grips.  Bottom left grip screw has some screw driver damage.  The over all bluing is 98% with just a little muzzle and slide wear from holster.  It is serial number 4083xx and I believe from the early 1950's.  There is only one magazine and no paperwork, the box is fine but has been touched up a bit and re-glued in several corners. The rear sight is adjustable for windage and the front sight has screw adjustment for height.  This was made in Spain and is a fine target gun or investment piece.

PC-1004 ... German Model 98 customized into a sporting rifle about 1950, caliber 8x57mm and has been stocked and blued.  It has a 24" bbl. with check rest and hand checkering and is in excellent condition.  A target trigger has been added as well as a fine Bausch & Lomb 2.5x to 8x variable Scope also with B&L mounts.  The front sight has been removed from the ramp groove, probably when the scope was installed. This classic bolt action rifle has the famous action that most all other rifles have followed, even to this day, after over 100 years of production.  Truly in a class by themselves and this one is a prime example of a smiths work about fifty years ago.  We have the whole unit priced at $xxx.00. ... PC-1005 ... Another classic gun and favorite action to sporterize is this Model 1898 US Springfield in .30-40 Krag caliber (.30 Government).  The unique side loading magazine was a popular action for gunsmiths in the 1950's and many of these fine guns found new homes with civilian hunters after use during the Spanish American War of 1898.  This has been blued and stocked with fine American walnut with cheek piece and hand checkering. Period swivels and ebony fore end cap were routine at the time.  The front sight is mounted in a ramp marked "REX." A Redfield receiver sight has been mounted in the rear.  These actions are super smooth and the rifle is in excellent condition.  We have this offered at $xxx.00. ... SOLD

C00141... This is a Colt SA Army Revolver copy by Uberti and was made in Italy to almost the same exacting standards as the Colt original.  It has a 5 1/2" barrel with case hardened frame and walnut grips.  It comes with a spare 9mm cylinder, paperwork and the original box.  It looks unfired and in like new condition. I believe it was made in the 90's.  If you want the feel and firing pleasure of a SAA Colt but not the cost, this is the gun for you.  Great for cowboy action or quick draw.  Priced at $950.00 ... PC0144 ... Ruger Redhawk .44 Magnum Revolver in Stainless Steel, 7 1/2" bbl., Pachmeyer  rubber grips and Burris SS 2x Scope. The original sights still remain and gun has been fired and sighted in.  This as new, 6 round revolver is one of our personal guns that has seen very little use.  Actually this is my daughters' favorite target pistol which she says has light recoil.  We don't get out that much anymore and have two others similar so we thought this one might serve someone else better.  You can probably buy the whole set new for about what we want for this but then you have to mount it and break it in, we already took care of that and added a little love.  Buy serial # 502-592xx soon before we want to take it out again.  We have priced it at $950.00.

HS- 2201 ... Smith & Wesson Model 37 five round revolver with 1 3/4" pinned barrel is in .38 Special caliber.  This early gun has a round butt with checkered walnut grips.  This is a double action revolver with swing out cylinder, is in excellent condition with but some few speckles in the finish.  It is very light weight and easy to carry.  The action is smooth and reliable.  We have this priced at only $895.00. ... PC- 0621 ... Winchester M 62 .22 S/L/LR Caliber Slide Action Rifle in excellent original condition.  With serial number 1804xx this highly collectable rifle was manufactured in 1946, it has a 23" barrel, has a tube feed system, the classic exposed hammer and takes down with one thumb screw on left side of receiver.  The original sights are still intact and the gun has nearly  99% of the original bright bluing.  There is one white spot on left receiver, two small wear marks on top of barrel near front ivory bead sight, and some very light discoloring at midway of barrel.  The walnut stocks are near perfect except for several dings and wear marks as pictured.  The bore is excellent.  This gun has been used, probably very little, but very well cared for and remains in overall excellent plus condition.  We have priced this at $1595.00 ...
