Remington M37 Rangemaster
13) Remington Model 37AR Bolt Action Target Rifle with 28" heavy barrel, serial number 083xx. This is the Rangemaster, made between 1937 and 1954, total production just over 12,000 rifles. It comes in its original kraft box serial numbered to the gun, plus several used targets and instruction book. The box
shows normal wear but the rifle is almost as new, exceptions listed below. The metal has 100% blue but there are blemishes from the box and thru normal but minimal use (see thumbnails). There is a long light scratch on the bottom of barrel, my eyes can't see it but a magnifier can. Also, some very light speckles of pitting around
the barrel just above the end of the stock. And there are two metal nicks on edge of barrel at muzzle. The finish is a dark blue- black, non- glare target bluing. The bolt is shiny, the case colored safety lever, scope and site blocks are like new. The stock is excellent but has several small dings and some box wear otherwise, as new (again, see photos). The adjustable trigger
states "patent pending". Comes with standard 10 round magazine plus single shot magazine adapter and globe front sight, unmarked with patent number 2,007,019 which I believe is a Redfield, (see item #9), and unmarked receiver sight with patent number 2,005,866, which I believe is a Parker Hale, (see item #8), both in excellent condition with very minor wear. There is also an added aluminum front rest and an adjustable front sling swivel. Also, a two piece leather 1 1/4" military sling is included but is mismatched (one old and one new piece). The receiver serial number is also matched
on the stock and the bolt. The trigger mechanism is crisp, the bore is perfect, the muzzle is perfect, the gun is a great find. And, it is all priced accordingly at only $xxxx.00 ... BUY NOW FFL is required. SOLD
