Dear Members and Exhibitors,

We have been so stressed lately with the people in charge at the Polish Community Center in Albany that Cathy and I decided to cancel both the January 10 & 11 and March 20 & 21, 2025 shows. At eighty-one and then some – we just can’t take the differences in the attitude change by the new board of directors and probable anti-gun sentiment from their new director. Personally, I’m not comfortable there any more plus the rent (which they just notified us of) has increased by $1100 per show, has become extreme enough that I can’t justify our time and energy with little to no gain.

Therefore, we are sending back all deposits that we received for those shows, which has not really been as much as I anticipated coming in, for those of you who stepped up I want to personally say, Thank You. We tried to work things out but there comes a point where we simply must cancel the deal and walk away.

That said, we have convinced the basketball teams using the Mechanicville Gym that we need a gun show back in the Gym and we now have one scheduled for January 18 & 19, 2025. Our dealer table prices have always been lower than Albany and they again will be just $65 for members and $75 for non-members. This location will now be our prime show location while we also seek to plan other events here and elsewhere.

The one problem we couldn’t change was the Friday night school basketball games; which means I can’t set up our tables until 9:00 PM on Friday evening. I can allow dealers to bring stuff in after 10 PM and/or set up early Saturday morning after 6:00 AM thru 9 AM. We will work it out!

If any of you want to continue with us at NEACA please let us know as soon as possible. If any of you who sent deposits for the PCC want tables in Mechanicville we can easily transfer that deposit. We also would like every other interested dealer in our January 18 & 19 Gun Show to fill out an application and send it in with a one table deposit. Your table money goes into early advertising and venue deposit so please send in your application as soon as possible.

NEACA is still alive and well, but we do intend our business to be much less stressful and more fun again. If you all wish to continue membership just check your mail for member renewal dates for discounts on tables or free early admission to our shows.

This note is going out as an email with a flier attached plus in a member/dealer mailing. We will also send out at least 1500 discount post cards to prior show attendees, plus road signs and social media posts. You can all help us and your show if you also post the notices to your friends, family and Facebook accounts.
